Whether you are spending even more time with your family, or you have more time on your own, here are five things to plan your weekend around.

  1. Go for a walk. Getting outside is good for the soul. Walk a nature path. Walk for a coffee. Walk with your family, with a friend or on your own. Your mood will be instantly lifted and your walk may be the most productive thing you do all day.
  2. Bake something. Pull out your favourite recipe or try a new one. This cookie decorating kit Chloe got from Sweet Temptations  is just THE CUTEST! Having something home baked is the best comfort food there is.
  3. Play a board game or an online game. We have been playing Ellen’s online game Psych and it is so much fun! We laugh hard every time. Great to play with the people you live with or with friends and family outside your bubble.
  4. Watch a great movie. Sing Street has all the feels for me. But there are so many great options. You can find more under Artsy on my blog.
  5. Take time to do something you love. Eric will probably head to the garage to putter around building something new. The kids might craft and I might bake or write. Just create. Like getting outside, it’s good for the soul – and you don’t have to be good at it for it to feel good.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
