I was so shocked by so many things the first time I saw this movie that I had to watch it again to appreciate it even more the second time. The film is beautifully shot. It is like looking at a moving piece of art. There is humour and sadness. Its characters are loveable and hateful. If we can enjoy movies about superheroes that have superpowers than we can also enjoy a movie about a mute woman and a sea creature.
Look for Stratford’s own Nigel Bennett as Mihalkov!!!

I laughed and laughed and thought what a horrible movie until I thought about it. It took a day or two to realize what a brilliant movie!!
